Fostering can be a rewarding experience for animal lovers who want to provide lost pets with a temporary safe space until they can be reunited with their families or picked up by the Humane Society.
Our fosters play a critical role in helping to care for cats and dogs who have been on an unscheduled journey.

Is Journey Fosters Niagara able to rehome our dog or cat?
No, we do not rehome pets. Journey Fosters Niagara’s mission is to help reunite pets with their families.

What are the hours of operation?
24 hours a day, 7 days a week, depending on availability. (Holidays may vary, but please contact us, if needed).

Does Journey Fosters Niagara help secure lost or stray dogs or cats?
No, we do not.

Is Journey Fosters Niagara an Animal Rescue?
No, we provide temporary foster care for Found & Secured dogs and cats that have gone missing from their homes until they are reunited with their families, either directly or through the local Humane Society or SPCA.
