Michelle is the Founder and President of Journey Fosters Niagara. Since 2016, Michelle has been involved with animal rescue. She has been dedicated to caring for lost pets while they wait to be reunited with their loving families since March of 2024.
Michelle Murray has approximately eight years experience spanning from 2016 to 2024 fostering rescue dogs, all of which have been adopted.
She was also involved in the day-to-day operations of the rescue, having served on the Board of Directors as well as holding positions in the organization. Michelle enjoys any public events where she connects with the people of the Niagara community.
In 2023, Michelle discovered a need in the community when responding to a post from someone who had found and secured a lost dog but were unable to hold onto them until they could be reunited with their family.
She took the dog in to foster until the owner claimed them. After this happened a few more times, she decided to start the registered nonprofit organization, Journey Fosters Niagara.
